It’s a long story, but here I am.

Welcome to Biggers Farms, a rural family farm established in 1944 in Perry, Missouri.

I was born and raised in Missouri on a farm. My father raised cattle and row cropped, while my mother wore many hats including bookkeeper, parts runner, and even working at an antique shop in town.

Music and art were my deepest passions growing up. I played piano and was always drawing. I attended Missouri State University where I studied graphic design and painting. After graduation, life carried me to Los Angeles, where I built a career in design, later moving into creative and brand direction.

Los Angeles was my home for 20 years and holds a special place in my heart. I lived in Echo Park with my two Schnauzers, Ollie and Gus, and we had a lot of adventures.

Over the years, travel began to reshape my perspective. Whether in Mérida, Paris, or Varanasi, a common thread was watching family and friends gathered around a table, sharing real food, conversation, and everyday life alongside animals and nature. It reminded me of the life I had known growing up.

When my father passed away, I returned to Missouri and dedicated myself to rebuilding my family's multi-generational farm. Today, I raise Angus cattle, registered American Quarter Horses, chickens, and rescue cats.

Life can take us on an unexpected path, sometimes back to the beginning. My hope is to preserve the history of Biggers Farms while forging my own new practices. I’m grateful for all that has been, and for all that is still to come.

With gratitude, Rebecca
